All classes begin at 9 am and finish at approximately 5:30 pm
All class hours must be attended to receive certification.This 100 hour comprehensive course is designed to:
- Train individuals who want to have a professional hypnosis practice.
- Train therapists, nurses, social workers, teachers, dentists and clergy who want to integrate hypnosis into their work.
- Train those who wish to grow personally and help family and friends.
The National Guild of Hypnotist developed this 100 hour intensive training to thoroughly prepare the student to become a practicing hypnotist upon graduation. The curriculum is formatted according to the classical approach to hypnotism, and includes lecture, demonstration, supervised practice, Q and A, homework and assignments as well as an exam. Level I and II are taught at the same time.
Your education in hypnosis will cover:
- An introduction to hypnosis, an historical overview, the many current uses of hypnosis: Medical and Therapeutic, Personal Growth and Development, Education, Law Enforcement, Business and Performance in the Arts and Sports.
- Techniques of preliminary client testing to determine which induction method is best for each individual client
- Suggestibility testing and practice
- Establishing and testing trance depth
- When not to hypnotize someone
- How to hypnotize
- Induction methods
- Deepening techniques and depth testing
- Depth stages
- The structure of your first session with a new client
- Self Hypnosis
- Hypnosis for Weight Loss, Smoking Cessation and Stress Reduction
- Writing effective scripts
- Advanced induction techniques
- Setting up your practice, marketing, record keeping, and other aspects of running your business
TUITION: $1750.

YOUR INSTRUCTOR:
Patricia Langer is an NGH Certified Hypnotist and Certified Instructor. Prior to moving her hypnosis practice to Innisfil Ontario in the fall of 2011, Patricia ran the Langer Centre for Healing Arts which she opened in 1994 in Toronto. In 2005 Patricia took a 3 year break from teaching and practicing to travel the world exploring trance, healing and the miraculous. Her travels have taken her to Africa where she lived among traditional healers, Bosnia where she met with visionaries, the pilgrimage sites in France, the healing temples of Aesclepius and the the Minoans in Greece, curanderos in Mexico and studies the sacred geometry in the Outer Hebrides.
Patricia is also an accomplished photographer, working in black and white with large format cameras and film which she processes in a traditional wet darkroom. She has exhibited and is collected widely.
As a hypnotist, teacher, mentor and stress and illness specialist, Patricia has appeared in numerous television and radio shows, and is a sought after speaker.
